Kolokotrones Circle
Most Circles are organized as informal presentations during which CAUSALab students, postdocs, and other junior investigators present issues encountered in the course of their ongoing research. Possible solutions are discussed by the group, which includes faculty members from members of the Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and other Departments.
The Kolokotrones Circle is weekly gatherings to discuss methodological issues that arise when using health data for causal inference. We talk about the design of observational analyses, g-methods, per-protocol analysis of randomized trials, transportability, data management, machine learning algorithms… you name it.
Meetings are on most Fridays from 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET during the academic year. The Kolokotrones Circles are only open to CAUSALab affiliates and are not open to the public. For those interested in attending CAUSALab events, we welcome you to join us at our Kolokotrones Symposia, CAUSALab Methods Series and CAUSALab Clinics. Connect with us on our social channels to be notified of CAUSALab news and events.
